Weekend Guide

Your Perfect Weekend at the Pearl

2026 | 8 min read | By The Historic Pearl SA

Whether you are a San Antonio local or visiting for the first time, here is how to make the most of a weekend at the Pearl District.

Saturday Morning: Farmers Market

Start your Saturday at the Pearl Farmers Market (9am-1pm). Arrive by 9:30 for the best selection from 80+ vendors. Grab a coffee from Local Coffee, browse the farm-fresh produce, sample artisan cheeses, and pick up fresh-baked bread. Live music sets the mood as you stroll.

Saturday Afternoon: Explore & Shop

After the market winds down, explore the Pearl's boutique shops. Browse The Twig Book Shop for your next read, discover handcrafted goods at Niche, and find unique gifts at Feliz Modern. Walk the River Walk's Museum Reach -- the public art installations are remarkable.

Saturday Evening: Fine Dining

Make a dinner reservation at Cured or Boiler House for an unforgettable meal. After dinner, grab cocktails at one of the Pearl's bars and enjoy the beautifully lit campus at night.

Sunday Morning: Brunch & Market

Sunday brunch at Supper (Hotel Emma) is a San Antonio institution. Alternatively, visit the Sunday Farmers Market (10am-2pm) for a more relaxed experience. Walk through the Hotel Emma lobby to admire the original brewery equipment.

Sunday Afternoon: History & Architecture

Take a self-guided architecture tour (see our architecture guide). Visit the Full Goods Building, admire the restored smokestack, and learn about the site's 140-year history. End with pastries at Bakery Lorraine.
